THE new chief executive of Arts Council England is coming to Hereford to talk to residents about art and culture in the county.
On Friday Darren Henley will be visiting The Courtyard in Edgar Street, Hereford as part of a nationwide tour.
There will be opportunities to meet with him for interviews between 3.45 and 4.15pm.
Mr Henley said: “‘I want our museums, our libraries, our artists and our arts venues to be genuinely popular.
"That means I want them to be a part of the life of everyone in England, no matter who they are or where they live.
"I’m looking forward to visiting Hereford to meet with art and cultural organisations in the area. It will be a valuable opportunity to see how art and culture is making a difference to people living in the region and discuss plans for the future.”
