A 36-YEAR-old has pleaded not guilty to stealing a dog which was tied up outside Asda.
Terrie Howey of Greytree Road, Ross-on-Wye appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court charged with theft, including theft by finding.
The court heard she was accused of taking a Springer Spaniel belonging to Amanda Hyde from outside Hereford's Asda on May 12.
The dog, called Benson, was reunited with his owner within an hour.
Howey will appear for a trial on September 21 at the magistrates court.
