MORE than £3,300 was raised for a county children's charity thanks to a fun-filled evening of Take That songs performed by a tribute band in Hereford.

Rule the World took to the stage at The Left Bank to perform in front of a packed audience who danced the night away to hits including Could It Be Magic and Back for Good.

The event which was organised by Specsavers on Maylord Street to raise money for the Hereford-based charity that provides real hair wigs to children suffering from cancer, raised £3,336.

This has been added to money raised from other events this year to make more than £6,000.

Clarification: The preview of this event mistakenly went into the Hereford Times print edition yesterday. The event has already taken place. Congratulations for the brilliant total raised.
