From a concert honouring a legendary composer to a beloved Roald Dahl novel production, there's lots to get up to in Ledbury this week.

Sing, Sign & Rhyme

Start March with Sing, Sign & Rhyme at Ledbury Library on Friday (March 1).

The engaging three-week series of sessions from Babysign Hereford gently engages your little ones with keyword signs (BSL) and popular nursery rhymes.

The sessions are perfect for new participants, and are suitable for babies up to crawlers.

Run in partnership with Herefordshire Libraries, the sessions are also subsidised, making it an affordable option for families.

Hellens Produce Market

Stock up on local produce while socialising over breakfast at Hellens Produce Market on Saturday (March 2).

The markets are held weekly, and are a great opportunity to support community businesses and make new friends.

Attendees are welcome to grab a coffee, some cake and a bacon sandwich.

Partakers are advised to bring cash, as some stallholders do not take card.

Ledbury Choral Society

On Saturday, Ledbury Choral Society will host a concert to commemorate the centenary anniversary year of legendary Italian composer Giacomo Puccini's death.

The performance features Puccini's unfinished choral work, Messa di Gloria, and the beloved Vivaldi Gloria.

Under the baton of musical director Simon Harper, the choir will be supported by Central England Camerata Orchestra, organist and harpsichordist Simon Peberdy, and soloists.

The concert will begin at 7.30pm at Ledbury Parish Church.

Tickets are £16 and are available from Ledbury Books and Maps or on the door.

Attendees under 18 can attend for free.

Matilda the Musical

Lastly, the Amelia K Academy will present their version of Dahl's Matilda The Musical Jr on Sunday (March 3) at The Market Theatre.

Based on Dahl's beloved story, the production will leave audiences rooting for the "revolting children" to teach the grown ups a lesson.

Tickets are available for £15.
