AN AWARD-WINNING gin from Herefordshire is now available for people to try while in the air.
Launched in partnership with Sustainaholics, anyone boarding an easyJet flight from Bristol or Gatwick from today (March 20) can try a 5cl version of Penhros Spirits' Wonky Raspberry gin.
The success of the gin comes on the back of it being launched in over 400 Sainsbury's supermarkets across the UK.

That was after it was named Product of the Year by the Gin Guide last year, which is given to the gin which receives the highest combined score from the judges' blind tasting, together with the design and branding category.
The gin is made with wibbly wobbly raspberries from the Penrhos Fruit Farm near Kington that would otherwise go to waste and unable to be sold to shops.
Harriet Williams, from Penrhos Spirits, said: “This is such an exciting step for Penrhos, being the first to launch onto easyJet with our 100 per cent recycled aluminium bottles and our collaboration with the Sustainaholics and the Alumini.
"We’re keen to work with all sectors from aviation to hospitality to help everyone make a simple swap that can have a bigger long-term impact for the planet."
Simon Cox, director of inflight retail at easyJet, added: “Here at easyJet, we are always looking to enhance our customer experience, whether it’s our delicious on-the-go food and snacks, duty-free shopping in the air as well as on-board beverages.
“We are delighted to be offering our customers even more choice and variety as we welcome Herefordshire-based Penrhos Spirits to our drinks trolley.
“While the new option will expand the variety of products aboard for customers – we are also happy to be working with an organisation that aligns with our approach when it comes to sustainability and reducing waste wherever possible in our operations.”
