SPRING has sprung at Deer Park Care Home, Ledbury, and several of the ladies there enjoyed an Easter-themed flower arranging morning with Chris Lynch, creating wonderful Easter chicks.
Chris has a genuinely caring approach, and was a nurse for more than 15 years, specialising in cancer nursing, along with nursing for the elderly. When she retired Chris took up flower arranging, initially starting with church flowers before qualifying as a flower arranging teacher and judge.
She has been running monthly flower arranging sessions at Deer Park for almost two years and says that she’s “thrilled to see the ladies’ work and how much they enjoy having fun with flowers.”
