Hanley defeat ends cup run
HANLEY Swan went out of the Worcestershire FA Junior Cup second round 2-0 to Bartley Green.
But Hanley gave a good account of themselves against higher-ranked opposition.
They should have taken an early lead, but Adam Webb missed from close range.
Minutes later, the same player gave away a penalty to give Bartley the lead. Bartley sealed the win in the second-half after a defensive lapse.
Hanley visit Churchdown Panthers on Saturday in Cheltenham Association League Division One (2pm).
